Sensitivity Analysis of a Mathematical Model of the Adoptive Cellular Therapy and Cytokine Injections for Cancer Management

Abstract: Sensitivity analysis of a mathematical model of immunotherapy of adoptive cellular therapy with cytokine IL-2 injections for tumor treatment is studied. Model consists of three nonlinear ordinary differential equations with population of tumor cells, effector cells or activated immune cell and concentration of cytokine IL-2 drug are the three variables along with fourteen parameters . For sensitivity analysis ARS algorithm of Painleve property analysis for system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is used and found the mathematical model is stable for all values of parameters. Hence this study suggests boosting of body’s immune system by using cytokines like IL-2 is better than other therapies for tumor managements .
