Abstract: The Wilcox Consciousness Field Theory (WCFT) proposes that consciousness emerges not from neural computation or speculative quantum events, but from the brain’s primary Magnetic (Γ) field, quantified by dimensionless Magnetic Information Density (MID′) and governed by the Wilcox Constant (κ_consciousness). The framework distinguishes electric-dominant components (humans) from magnetic-dominant structures (AI, instruments) and introduces Targeted Magnetic Recalibration (TMR) as a falsifiable test of conscious module dynamics. WCFT provides a measurable, topological, and experimentally accessible approach, connecting electromagnetic coherence to subjective experience and offering predictive interventions for conscious modulation.
