Abstract: The article examines approaches to determining the stability of the field of geology and subsoil of Ukraine in a special period and in the conditions of martial law. The main areas of operation of the State Geodesy were analyzed, directed mainly to the issuance of special permits for the use of subsoil, their geological information support and monitoring, which creates risks of conflict of interests. It is recommended to reorganize the State Geology and Subsoil Service of Ukraine into the State Agency of Mineral Resources and the Service Geological Service of Ukraine.
