Modified Mass-Energy Equation for Complex Systems: A Unified Framework for Intelligence, Consciousness, and Emergence
Year: 2025
Type: dissertation
Abstract: We present a revolutionary modification to Einstein's mass-energy equation that fundamentally transforms our understanding of complex systems, intelligence, and consciousness. The Complexity-Energy-Physics (CEP) equation E = mc² + ΔEF + ΔES + λ·EC represents the first unified framework that seamlessly integrates quantum field theory, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, and complex systems science to provide a complete physical description of emergent phenomena. Our breakthrough establishes that intelligence and consciousness are not merely computational processes but fundamental physical phenomena governed by quantifiable energy dynamics. We derive rigorous constraints for artificial general intelligence (AGI): fractal dimension D ≥ 2.7, complexity coefficient λ ≥ 0.8, and critical chaos threshold Ω_crit ≈ 0. Through unprecedented cross-scale validation spanning quantum to cosmic systems, we demonstrate that consciousness emerges as a high-order phase transition when systems achieve sufficient complexity-ordered energy. The framework provides the first measurable criteria for artificial consciousness and establishes concrete pathways for AGI development through next-generation memristor-fractal-chaos architectures. This work represents a paradigm shift comparable to the original mass-energy equivalence, opening new frontiers in physics, artificial intelligence, and consciousness research. The CEP framework forms the theoretical foundation for the EIT-P (Emergent Intelligence Transformer Prototype) implementation available at https://github.com/f21211/eitp-real-product
