Optical Transport Networks Supporting Integrated Communications and Sensing in 6G

Abstract: This paper proposes a 6G network architecture supporting Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) services exploiting a multi-technology optical transport network. A modelling framework is proposed optimising optical transport network resources for ISAC. The proposed architecture is experimentally implemented and evaluated over a 6G test-bed.
