Digital Readiness in Vietnam's Higher Education: Administrative Perspectives
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This poster, presented at the NIE Graduate Research Conference 2025 at Nanyang Technological University, investigates digital readiness in Vietnam’s higher education from the perspectives of university administrators. Adopting a convergent mixed-methods design, the study integrates quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews conducted across three institutional contexts: Vietnam National University, Foreign Trade University, and the VN-UK Institute. Findings identify key enabling and constraining factors shaping technology adoption and digital integration among administrative leaders and staff. The research provides implications for leadership development, institutional capacity building, and evidence-informed policy design. The poster also introduces a proposed Digital Innovation Hub for Higher Education in Vietnam, aimed at bridging AI and digital literacy gaps and fostering inclusive, sustainable digital ecosystems.
