The Concept of Divinity in Islam
Year: 2025
Type: other
Abstract: This article discusses the Islamic concept of divinity based on the principle of tawhid—the belief in the oneness of Allah as the only God without partners. It explores three main aspects of tawhid, the pre-Islamic understanding of divinity, the Qur’anic affirmation of God’s unity, and philosophical insights from Islamic thinkers such as Ibn Sina and Mulla Sadra. The study emphasizes that the concept of divinity in Islam is not merely theological recognition but also the moral and spiritual application of faith in daily life.
