Abstract: The front cover picture illustrates the dissolution of gold lattice in various pH environments, highlighting the electrochemical interaction with different electrolytes. Gold dissolution is minimal at neutral pH and increases at acidic and alkaline extremes, influenced by the formation of gold oxides and the rate and mechanism of the oxygen evolution reaction.
