Abstract: This article is a continuation of the study of the highlighted problem, but the study was conducted on another social group. The article presents the results of an empirical study of representations about an extreme situation and the structure of ideas among students of the Faculty of «Life Safety» of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education «State University of Education», based on the dispositional concept of V.A. Yadov. The structure of representations has several levels and includes personal, value, elementary and basic components. Each level of the dispositional concept was compared with the methods. Such methods were used as: «The style of self-regulation of behavior» by V.I. Morosanova, «Unfinished sentences» by Sachs Levy (modification by V.E. Petrov, L.I. Bogateeva), the author's questionnaire in the variant of the associative series «Extreme situations» (adaptation by M.I. Rozenova, L.I. Bogateeva), the authors questionnaire «Personality in an extreme situation» (Bogateeva L.I.), the author's questionnaire «Susceptibility to extreme situations» (adaptation by M.I. Rozenova, L.I. Bogateeva), «Semantic differential» (modification by M.I. Rozenova). The analysis of the results was carried out using content analysis. This study revealed significant socio-psychological elements of the structure of representations in students. There were also 10 groups of associations about extreme situations and 10 groups of associations of exposure to extreme situations. The results may make it possible to further adjust the students social attitudes used to adequately respond to extreme situations that will later occur in the professional environment. In the future, it is planned to conduct research on other social groups.
