Abstract: This article discusses the theoretical and practical foundations of developing creative abilities in primary school students. The concept of creativity, its psychological characteristics, and methods and technologies for fostering creativity in the educational process are thoroughly analyzed. Foreign experiences are reviewed, and the prospects of implementing creative approaches in the education system of Uzbekistan are highlighted. The article can serve as a methodological guide for teachers.
