Abstract: This article analyzes the role of online tests and electronic assessment systems in the educational process, their effectiveness and impact on student and teacher performance based on scientific sources. The studies highlight the advantages of electronic assessment - speed, objectivity, feedback opportunities and student motivation. At the same time, problems related to technical infrastructure, digital literacy and academic integrity are also analyzed.
