Cybersecurity data integration in information systems: a semantic knowledge graph approach

Abstract: The integration of Information Systems through APIs offers organizational benefits such as collaboration, autonomy, reliability, and control in system management. However, interoperability among Collaborative Systems, Cyber-Physical Systems, Intelligent Systems, and Systems of Systems presents a significant challenge, exposing integration points to potential cyberattacks. The absence of a common conceptual framework hinders integrated management and increases vulnerability risks. To address these issues, this paper proposes the development of a Semantic Integration Graph for Cybersecurity Management in InformationSystems (GISSI), which structures concepts related to interoperability and provides a foundation to support professionals in the secure management of these systems.
