Abstract: The purpose of the article is to attempt to determine how human energy is created. It is not about the human factor or human capital. It is not about professional and general social competencies. It is not about patriotism. It is about human energy as a mechanism of the formation of national self-awareness, about conscience as a category of scientific knowledge, about the soul and spirit of the ordinary Russian people, about how not to turn into an “electorate”. The article develops Hegel's position on the connection between mind and reality based on the assessments of O. Yu. Mamedov's reflections on the meanings of human socio-economic existence aimed at uniting Russian society. The author axiomatizes the opinion that the creative path of O. Yu. Mamedov is an example of patriotism in defense against the destructive context of the market economy (capitalism), personifying the cohesion of citizens and uniting goals, the appropriateness of fundamental changes as prospects for the existence and development of the human community.
