Abstract: Adaptation of instructional programs is vital for ensuring meaningful inclusion of children with special needs in general and special education classrooms. Adaptations were made at three levels: subject matter and learning resources, teaching strategies, and assessment methods. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of adapted science lessons in enhancing comprehension, application, and overall performance among children with hearing impairment. Findings underscore that adapted instructional materials not only benefit children with special needs but also enhance learning for all students.
