Abstract: Metabolic fatty liver disease of Pregnancy (MFLD) is increasingly recognized in women of reproductive age and may carry implications for pregnancy. However, data on MFLD prevalence in Indian subpopulations, especially among pregnant women in Kashmir, are sparse The objective is to determine the prevalence of MFLD among pregnant women attending antenatal care (ANC) in Kashmir and evaluate associated metabolic and dietary risk factors.
