Biag ti Minas: Work-Related Anxiety and Coping Strategies of Gold Miners
Year: 2025
Type: dissertation
Abstract: Mining is a high-risk occupation that exposes workers to hazardous conditions, leading to physical dangers and psychological stress. Work-related anxiety is prevalent among miners due to extreme working environments, low wages, and job insecurity. This study aims to examine work-related anxiety and coping strategies used by gold miners in the Philippines. The findings will contribute to the development of a Work-Related Anxiety Management Program under the Biag Ti Minas Project, providing targeted interventions to support the mental well-being of miners.
