Wave-Particle Duality Origins via Zeta Function Theory:\\A Complex Plane Analysis of Fundamental Quantum Phenomena
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper establishes a fundamental mathematical theory for wave-particle duality origins through the analytic structure of Riemann zeta functions in the complex plane. We prove that wave-particle duality is not an accidental feature of the physical world, but emerges from essential properties of zeta functions—particularly their analytic continuation mechanisms and zero distributions. Through extending zeta functions to Hilbert space operator frameworks, we reveal that wave nature corresponds to continuous spectral structures while particle nature corresponds to discrete eigenvalue spectra. Our key innovations include: (1) proving that the negative fixed point $s^* \approx -0.295905$ encodes critical information for wave-particle transitions; (2) establishing an infinite fractal generation framework explaining multi-scale features of quantum measurement; (3) unifying discrete-continuous, finite-infinite, and deterministic-probabilistic dualities through Hilbert space spectral decomposition; (4) revealing why fixed points represent transition mechanisms rather than universe origins. This theory predicts specific physical effects verifiable in 2025 and beyond. These include precise critical exponents for quantum phase transitions, scaling laws for entanglement entropy, and theoretical foundations for novel quantum computing architectures.
