Description and illustration. Geng et al. (2016). Notes. Scytalidium tuberculatum was introduced by Geng et al. (2016). In this study, the ex-type strain (H 1195) of S. tuberculatum nested in the genus Neocosmospora (Fig. 1). However, the name Neocosmospora tuberculata is already occupied (Lee et al. 2025). Therefore, we transferred S. tuberculatum to the genus Neocosmospora as Neocosmospora xizangensis.
