Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Countries that ensure women’s access to education and meaningful employment consistently demonstrate higher levels of prosperity, political stability, and innovation than those that restrict women’s societal roles. This paper explores the multifaceted benefits of gender inclusion and the significant costs of exclusion through comparative analysis supported by global data and country-specific examples. It examines how women’s education and workforce participation drive economic growth, improve health and social outcomes, strengthen governance, and foster innovation. Furthermore, the paper addresses the social consequences of gender exclusion on children’s behavior and the link between gender inequality and conditions conducive to terrorism. Ultimately, it underscores gender equality as a strategic imperative for sustainable development and peace.
