Abstract: The ClimEx-PE project proudly participated in the 3rd Sustainable Cities Conference and Expo, held at the UP Rendezvénytér in Budapest on October 10-11, 2024. This national event brought together municipalities, sustainable development professionals, and water retention enthusiasts to explore innovative solutions for a sustainable future. At the heart of the expo, the ELTE hydrogeology group showcased their groundbreaking Nature-Based Managed Aquifer Recharge (NaBa-MAR®) innovation. This methodology, developed through decades of scientific research, offers a comprehensive groundwater recharge solution that extends from local to municipal and landscape scales, leveraging the knowledge of groundwater flow systems.
