Abstract: TESS Objects of Interest (TOIs) are preliminary exoplanet candidates detected by NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. These potential targets, of which some may be false-positives, are shared with the astronomical community to enable follow-up observations of new worlds. In this paper, we report the ground-based follow-up photometry of the TESS Object of Interest TOI 3683.01 (TIC 264912889.01) obtained on UT 2023-9-04 in the R band. A shallow flux decrement is visible near the predicted transit window, but the signal-to-noise of a single night is marginal. Using AstroImageJ we test detrending schemes and apply built-in NEB checks. The goal for the observation was to verify the transit detection and expected characteristics of the transiting exoplanet. In our findings, we determined that the present dataset alone is insufficient for a definitive on-target detection. Thus, we release our reduced photometry to enable further follow-up on the candidate planet.
