Abstract: Ramipril is the drug is official in British Pharmacopoeia used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure. The official method of analysis of Ramipril is potentiometric method. Several UV spectrophotometric, HPLC methods in pure form, pharmaceutical formulation and HPTLC methods have been reported to determine. This review provides an overview of various analytical techniques used for Ramipril determination both in a single preparation and in combination.
