Mexico 2024-2030 - The Structural Crossroads
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This essay projects Mexico's evolution in the medium term (2024-2030) by analyzing three interdependent critical vectors: institutionalized political concentration, economic reconfiguration under structural constraints, and hybrid militarized security. The central thesis is that the country is heading towards a low-intensity equilibrium: an electorally legitimized hyper-presidentialism, anemic growth sustained by informal social resilience, and a security model that manages, but does not resolve, violence. This analysis is based on the triangulation of primary and secondary sources, including legal reforms, official macroeconomic series, and crime incidence data.
