Cerebro Rhythm: How does music affect human concentration and relaxation?
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Many adolescents experience stress, anxiety, worry and uncontrollable aggression while preparing for exams, thereby reducing productivity and concentration on the task at hand. The "Cerebro Rhythm" project investigates the impact of music on adolescents' emotional states and their ability to concentrate. The primary goal is to develop an AI-based algorithm that analyzes brain activity (via EEG) to determine emotional states and recommend suitable music to alleviate stress or enhance productivity. Conducted experiments revealed that calm music positively influences concentration and emotional control, while heavy and fast-paced music can induce anxiety. This project integrates psychological research and advanced data analysis technologies to create an innovative solution in the field of music therapy.
