EDOC Addendum III — Causal Metrics Definition
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This addendum extends the Arrow and Carrier Principle (Addendum II) by defining quantitative metrics for the EDOC continuum. It introduces the causal-realization rate Γ(frames per second) and the frame-information quantity X_EDOC (bits per frame), and formalizes the realized coherence efficiency ηₚ constrained by the coherence ceiling Ωᴱ (previously defined in Addendum II). Carrier efficiency Ωᴱ_carrier remains a distinct constraint on informational transfer. These quantities express how fast causal frames are realized, how much information each frame commits, and how much coherence is realized within the fixed informational ceiling. Together they define the quantitative set {F, Γ, Ωᴱ, ηₚ,Ωᴱ_carrier, X_EDOC} for EDOC
