From Governance to Delivery: Modeling a Control System for Devops Projects

Abstract: The rise of DevOps has reshaped the software development lifecycle by promoting rapid delivery and collaboration between development and operations teams. However, as speed increases, maintaining governance and control becomes complex. This paper presents a control system model that integrates strategic oversight into DevOps pipelines without compromising agility. Supported by a real-world case study, the proposed model introduces automated governance checkpoints, continuous compliance, and transparent feedback loops, enabling organizations to align business rules with CI/CD delivery processes.
