Abstract: An exoplanet is a planet that is discovered outside of our solar system, the knowledge of these planets help us learn more about other universes as well as our own. The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite also known as TESS uses data collected to identify and gather information about different exoplanet candidates. The purpose of this study was to use data to study and gather information on the exoplanet candidate TOI 3945.01 and follow up on the confirmation of TOI 3945.01 if it is an exoplanet using the transit method. The transit method detects the trending dimming in a star to see if that dimming shows an exoplanet passing in front of it. This paper shows the analysis on TOI 3945.01 and the findings from this data collected by the GMU telescope that shows that there is in fact a transit captured.
