The Breathing Universe: 302_Temporal Topology and Multiversal Connectivity

Type: article
Abstract: The Breathing Universe Model (BUM) describes spacetime as a dynamic continuum whose vacuum tension oscillates between expansive and contractive regimes. Within this framework, time is not an external parameter but the phase of this oscillatory field. This paper develops the concept of temporal topology, exploring how loops, folds, and junctions of time arise naturally from the same breathing dynamics that govern mass–energy exchange and cosmic expansion. Building on earlier work on dynamic vacuum tension and nested snapping, the paper shows how wormholes, phase-shifted parallel domains, and multiversal structures emerge as coherent phase configurations of a single underlying field. Wormholes are interpreted as zero-line bridges where expansive and contractive accelerations balance, requiring no exotic matter. Time travel and temporal displacement are described as phase navigation within the breathing cycle rather than superluminal motion or causal violation. Although the fundamental field equations are reversible, entropy accumulation renders experienced time irreversible. Time crystals are introduced as stabilizing phase-locked structures that maintain coherence across zero-line domains and enable persistent connections between temporal regions. Parallel universes are reinterpreted as phase-offset domains sharing the same global energy reservoir, forming a deterministic multiverse architecture rooted in oscillatory vacuum dynamics. The paper further explores implications for quantum correspondence, temporal entanglement, information storage in the vacuum, and the emergence of choice and causality. Observable signatures are outlined across cosmology, gravitational-wave physics, neutrino oscillations, and precision timing experiments, providing potential pathways for empirical constraint. Temporal topology thus extends the Breathing Universe Model from dynamic geometry to a unified description of time, connectivity, and coherence across scales.
