Abstract: English Abstract This presentation provides an overview of Open Access (OA) and recent transformations in scholarly communication, delivered at the Faculty Development (FD) program of Tsuruga Nursing University in September 2025.It explores the evolving landscape of OA—including immediate open access policies, institutional repositories, Creative Commons licensing, and persistent identifiers (PIDs) such as DOI and ORCID—alongside the rise of new indicators like altmetrics and preprint dissemination.By examining these trends from both global and domestic perspectives, the presentation aims to foster a deeper understanding of how openness, visibility, and credibility intersect in modern research communication, particularly in the field of nursing and healthcare education. 日本語要約 本講演は、2025年9月に敦賀市立看護大学のFD(ファカルティ・ディベロップメント)プログラムで行われたもので、オープンアクセス(OA)と学術情報流通の変容をテーマに、近年の動向を概説します。即時OA政策、機関リポジトリ、クリエイティブ・コモンズ・ライセンス、DOIやORCIDなどの永続的識別子(PID)に加え、オルトメトリクスやプレプリントといった新しい研究評価・発信の潮流にも触れています。国内外の視点から、研究成果の「オープン化・可視化・信頼性確保」がどのように結びつくのかを考察し、看護・医療教育分野における学術コミュニケーションの新たな在り方を提示します。 本資料はEBSCO Information Services Japanの花田謙一(ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3955-8066)により作成されました。 --- **Update (December 2025):** Over 649 views and 653 downloads recorded.
