Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Techhumanology™ is introduced as a new interdisciplinary academic discipline dedicated to understanding and guiding the co-evolution of humanity and technology. Coined and developed by Nitika Sharma (NitikaS) in 2015, the field integrates ethics, cognition, design, culture, and foresight to ensure that technological progress strengthens rather than erodes human flourishing.Techhumanology™ provides a theoretical and practical framework for aligning innovation with consciousness, creating a balanced evolution between human values and intelligent systems. This paper defines its foundations, scope, research structure, and educational vision, establishing the intellectual architecture for a discipline that studies technology not as a tool apart from humanity, but as a partner in our collective becoming.
