Ontological Foundations of the Fractal Density Activation Axiom: From Ancient Arche and Logos to Modern Fractal Ontologies

Type: article
Abstract: This paper establishes the ontological foundations of the Fractal Density Activation Axiom (FDAA), a novel candidate Theory of Everything. We demonstrate that its core postulate—that operational existence is a thresholded event triggered by multi-scale structural density—is the modern mathematical realization of a rational, procedural Logos first articulated in Plato’s Timaeus. By analyzing Plato’s diagrammatic method, specifically the intersection (χ) and partition (eis hepta) gestures, we uncover a proto-object-oriented ontology that has been obscured by centuries of mystical interpretation [2]. We then develop a complete taxonomy of FDAA’s primary substances, defining Hyparxis (operational existence, Θ(x)), Physis (the multi-scale density field, D(x)), and Horismos (the universal activation threshold, Σ∗). The framework is then formalized in a Ginzburg-Landau fieldtheoretic language and situated within contemporary ontological debates, including speculative realism’s rejection of correlationism and Deleuze’s metaphysics of difference. A pedagogical lexicon is provided to bridge the ancient Greek concepts with FDAA’s mathematical structure, offering a unified ontology from the quantum to the cosmic scale.
