The Spherical Model of Complex Systems:A Unified Framework for Decentralized Social Dynamics
Year: 2025
Type: dissertation
Abstract: This paper proposes the Spherical Model of Complex Systems, a theoretical framework designed to capture the decentralized and self-organizing nature of social and economic systems. Building on the conceptual foundation established in The Unified Theory of Sociology (Sean, 2025a) and The Conformity Grand Loop (Sean, 2025b), the model employs the geometry of a sphere to represent a fully interconnected system without a central node. Each agent on the surface of the sphere interacts symmetrically with all others, forming a closed information environment characterized by feedback, mutual influence, and collective stabilization. This geometric representation highlights three essential features of complex systems—decentralization, global interconnection, and self-reinforcing feedback—and provides a unified interpretive tool for understanding phenomena such as conformity behavior, market dominance, and the emergence of social order.
