Abstract: In the world of today, there are many navigation applications outdoors but when it comes to indoors, navigation is still hard, majorly due to the Multiple floors of Buildings. Indoor Navigation is hard as it requires positioning the Marker above the ground, so there is a high chance that there are two or more markers at the same point if looked from the top. Therefore, in Indoor navigation a normal 2D view map will not be working as the top view will show all points on the Ground level, one way to handle this problem is to show written directions that specify the floor but that is not the type of navigation anyone expects from a Navigation Application. With advances in technology, we can use Augmented Reality with navigation which will help Navigate the people to their location with ease. The Augmented Technology will give direction in the real world using the camera of the Device. Therefore, we are putting forth a low-cost approach that relies solely on Augmented Reality (AR), which sets the Virtual Marker to guide the user to their destination and requires no hardware. The markers are permanently placed in many locations and any marker can be selected by the user according to the point they want to reach. For the Path Finding Algorithm most widely spread Algorithm is A*(A star) with large usage in Applications and a Variety of library support we can easily use this for the Navigating process. This Application can integrate with the current 2D Navigation application which will help to save the overall data used in the User’s Device by not having to keep two different applications for navigation. With the Button separating the functionality of AR Navigation and Simple 2D Navigation. This Model can be extended with many different apps too to tell users more about the Surrounding.
