Its spread has reshaped industries, impacted socio-political frameworks, and defied ethical conventions. This paper discusses the interplay between AI and society, analyzing historical evolution, present-day applications, ethical concerns, socioeconomic effects, and future directions. Through the incorporation of ideas from computer science, ethics, economics, and sociology, it strives to give a complete picture of how AI is influencing and being influenced by the society within which it exists.
