The Collapse of Centralized AI Discovery

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Search produced a centralized discovery model. One primary interface shaped consumer demand and enterprise attention. Generative systems remove the constraints that once stabilized this structure. AI discovery now fragments across consumer assistants, vertical agents, enterprise copilots, and embedded software systems. This paper provides conceptual foundations, operational evidence, and an audit-ready control framework for visibility assurance in multi-agent environments. Presence is no longer a guarantee of selection. Evidence, continuity, and eligibility define enterprise control.
