The Partition Theorem, Entropy Localization and Dynamic Stratificationn in Continuum Parameterized Tree Families

Abstract: We establish the fundamental partition structure underlying the Taylor shift and explain whytopological, dynamical, and entropic complexity can separate completely. Every cylinder set inthe Taylor shift admits a canonical partition into entropically active (periodic) and entropicallyinert (aperiodic) components, with all topological entropy arising from the periodic part. Thispartition occurs independently across a continuum-parameterized family of 2ℵ0 trees, creating astratification where homeomorphic cylinders become dynamically non-conjugate due to differingperiodic orbit distributions. We prove: (1) The Cylinder Partition Theorem - every cylinder decomposes canonically intoperiodic and aperiodic parts; (2) The Entropy Localization Principle - entropy concentratesentirely in periodic orbits; (3) The Stratification Theorem - periodic distributions create non-conjugacy across the tree family; (4) The Lossless Quotient Principle - collapsing inert structurepreserves all operational information. This resolves the apparent paradox of the Taylor shift having > continum manytopologically distinct orbit types yet trivial dynamics on aperiodic classes, and explains why the simple quotient loses nodynamical or entropic information despite collapsing uncountably many objects to one point.
