Abstract: This research paper presents a machine learning-based approach for detecting fake news using text features. The proposed system employs Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the core classification algorithm to distinguish between real and fake news. The dataset consists of textual data collected from reliable online sources and preprocessed for feature extraction. The study focuses on analyzing linguistic and statistical text characteristics to improve detection accuracy. Future enhancements include integrating image and link-based analysis for more robust results.
