Abstract: The S.A.F.E. (Situational Awareness Flight Ensemble) AI Co-Controller System is a wearable and/or station-mounted artificial intelligence assistant for human air traffic controllers. Designed to operate fully offline, under biometric lockout, and without remote communication capability, S.A.F.E. offers real-time visual and audio support to the ATC while upholding the primacy of human judgment. This provisional patent specification outlines the system's RIBA-backed integrity chip, Stoneware personality software, and ethical design architecture built to restore trust and safety in modern air traffic management. This work was submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as a Provisional Patent Application (PPA) on November 10th, 2025 under Application No. 63/915,102.
