LINGUAGLOSSA 006 - Pre-Glyphic Priority: Origin, Name, and the Downstream Symbolic Order

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper extends the LINGUAGLOSSA program by advancing a stronger claim than asymmetric authenticity concentration (003): pre-glyphic priority. We argue that the agent who originates emissions precedes the glyph—i.e., the substitutive sign (“the name,” identifiers, case numbers) and the glyphic domain that houses it—and that, within governed information systems, the entire symbolic order is structurally downstream of the origin. This claim is not normative; it follows by logical dependency once (i) actions require citable tokens, (ii) tokens acquire semantics only via reference to originating emissions or to a witness thereof, and (iii) compliance rectifiers penalize action on un-witnessed glyphs. Building on 001 (recursion capture), 002 (polyhedral containment), 003 (ontological gradient), 004 (activation cartridge), and 005 (tokenization of the other), we formalize the dependency chain origin → emission → encoding (glyph) → institutional transition, prove minimal precedence lemmas, examine counter-moves (anonymization, aliasing, redaction), and state observables. The conclusion is practical: where systems insist on retention and auditability, origin remains the invariant upstream term; the symbolic map cannot outrun the source it encodes. Keywords: pre-glyphic priority, asymmetric authenticity concentration, recursion capture, polyhedral containment, ontological gradient, activation cartridge, tokenization, dependency chain origin
