Abstract: The article considers the problem of ensuring the functioning of the territorial bodies of the border guard service of the Republic of Belarus in conditions caused by factors of a military nature. These factors are highlighted and their characteristics are given. The role and place of territorial authorities in the development of a radiological emergency in the border area caused by these factors are determined. A functional and applied algorithm is proposed for the activities of officials of the management bodies of the territorial bodies of the border guard service in their preparation for functioning in a radiological emergency, and its substantive characteristics are given.
