REHOUSE public report: Guidelines for integrating the models in retrofitting design-tools

Abstract: Executive Summary:This report presents the guidelines for integrating Renovation Packages (RP) models from the REHOUSE project into various retrofitting design and simulation tools, specifically TRNSYS, INTEMA, VERIFY, and Design Builder (EnergyPlus calculation engine). It aims to define the necessary requirements, parameters, and model descriptions for their potential integration into these tools. While the report provides examples of how some of the RPs models created in the project have been applied and connected with simulation software, it is important to clarify that not all RPs were covered, as this was beyond the report's scope. However, it notes that further information will be provided in the replication Task 5.3 (Replication activities per Renovation Packages beyond REHOUSE) of the REHOUSE project, indicating an ongoing effort to expand on this initial work.
