Introducing the Comprehensive Inner Transformation Framework (CITF): The Foundational Model of a Broader Resilience Ecosystem
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper introduces the Comprehensive Inner Transformation Framework (CITF), an innovative model developed by Dr. Ashi Ezz to guide individuals through profound psychological and emotional growth. Rooted in constructivist epistemology and inspired by established theories; such as growth mindset (Dweck, 2006), self-efficacy (Bandura, 1977), narrative therapy, ACT, and systems thinking; the CITF offers a 12-step process to help individuals move from “cringe” moments (shame, fear, collapse) toward authentic self-actualization (“prestige”). This framework is designed as both a reflective model and a practical tool, merging psychology, philosophy, and spiritual insight. The research methodology is interpretive and conceptual, aligning with approaches outlined by Creswell and Poth (2018), where lived experience is theorized into structured transformation models. The CITF has broad applicability in coaching, therapy, leadership, and resilience education, providing a scalable model for personal and organizational change. The framework is further explored in the book "The Bridge from Cringe to Prestige" (Ezz, 2024), where it is applied to real-life experiences, stages of transformation, and systems-based loops. This paper provides the theoretical grounding behind the CITF and positions it as a new contribution to the field of psychological resilience and human development.
