Abstract: Small and medium-sized bakeries face significant operational challenges due to manual inventory management and inefficient handling of custom orders, which leads to substantial food waste and lost sales. This paper presents IntelliBake, an integrated web application designed to automate and optimise these processes. A key innovation is the seamless processing of custom cake orders with image uploads, which are fully integrated into production planning. Furthermore, the system incorporates dynamic pricing strategies and optimises order batching to maximise production efficiency and profitability. Built on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js), the system features a responsive Administrator Dashboard (Admin UI) for holistic control and a Customer Portal (Customer UI) for easy ordering. A pilot study simulating real bakery data demonstrated a 30% reduction in waste and a 15% increase in sales revenue. By merging data analytics with operational automation, IntelliBake offers a scalable solution that enhances profitability and sustainability for artisan bakeries.
