Critical Resonance Threshold and Directional Dynamostasis.

Year: 2025
Type: dissertation
Abstract: The work presents a general framework for directional dynamostasis in open coherent systems, ranging from optical and matter wave setups to fluid and biological media. It combines three layers: (i) a straight line law between a normalized coherence measure and phase space extension, (ii) a curvature based energy and flux balance encoded in a minimal Lagrangian field model, and (iii) a spectral link that ties a resonance parameter S to the real part of the dominant eigenvalue. Together, these elements explain when coherent structures remain neutral and long lived, when they become poised for rapid change, and how to use control parameters to keep a system in an optimally out of equilibrium regime.
