Abstract: This presentation was made in a seminar for the Master od Data Management and Curation created by SISSA in Trieste. It explains the point of view of Guillaume Gaisné, a PhD in Astrophysics who left research and became a Data manager at the ESRF.Guillaume shares his points of view, learnings and challenges during his switch from analysing data to managing and curating it.
