Temporal Information Dynamics in the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology: Part II: Channels, Computation, and the Energetics of τ -Information

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper develops Part II of Temporal Information Dynamics (TID) within the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology (STFO), extending the temporal-information framework introduced in Part I. While STFO models time as a physical scalar field τ(x) generating geometry, causality, and energy, TID focuses on how information is stored, transmitted, encoded, and transformed through τ-dynamics. In this follow-up work, we introduce the structure of temporal channels, derive capacity limits from τ-gradients and temporal fluctuations, and formalize how computation is constrained by temporal depth, field geometry, and disformal propagation. We develop a physically grounded theory of temporal computation, analyze stability and noise from the δτ propagator, and show how field-theoretic constraints reshape classical information measures. Key topics include: • Temporal channel capacity and anisotropy• τ-gradient–driven directional information flow• Complexity and temporal-depth cost in computation• Noise, decoherence, and τ-fluctuation spectra• Disformal information geometry and propagation bias• Field-theoretic limits on storage and transmission• Integration with STFO gauge, quantum, and hydrodynamic pillars Together with Part I, this work establishes Temporal Information Dynamics as a foundational information-theoretic extension of the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology. It provides a unified framework linking geometry, computation, topological protection, and physical information flow—rooted directly in τ(x) and its derivatives.
