Performances Comparison between CodeIgniter and CakePHP
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents a comparative performance analysis of two popular PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) frameworks—CodeIgniter and CakePHP—within the scope of modern web application development. The evaluation was performed through the implementation of an online book catalogue application, where core CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations were benchmarked using Apache JMeter. The objective was to provide an impartial assessment of each framework’s efficiency and responsiveness under identical conditions.
