Priority-Based Timeframe Management for Scheduling Day-Ahead Electric Vehicle Charging in a Residential Facility
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study proposes a priority-based day-ahead electric vehicle (EV) charging framework for residential facilities, designed to mitigate timeslot congestion and enhance grid stability. The proposed approach prioritizes charging allocation based on user-defined preferences while incorporating a dynamic reallocation mechanism to prevent timeslot congestion. Simulation results validate the efficacy of the proposed framework in balancing user satisfaction with improved grid efficiency, underscoring its potential for scalable deployment in smart grid ecosystems.
