Coherence Algebra and Its Empirical Signature in Astrophysical Transients

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This record publishes together two complementary works: 1. The Coherence Algebra of 0–1 as the Foundation of Physical Reality Beyond Space and TimeDevelops a mathematical framework in which space, time, mass and geometry are not fundamental, but emerge only when relational coherence lies strictly in the interval 0 < Ξ < 1. Perfect coherence (Ξ = 1) and complete decoherence (Ξ → 0) are non-geometric regimes in which physical processes cannot unfold. The 0–1 coherence algebra introduces axioms and operations for coherence evolution, deriving proper time (dτ = Ξ dt), mass (m = E / Ξ²), and metric components (e.g., g_tt = –Ξ⁻²) without assuming a pre-existing manifold. General relativity and quantum theory appear as valid limit regimes of high and intermediate coherence respectively. 2. Universal Temporal Signature in Astrophysical Transients Predicted by the 0–1 Coherence AlgebraTests whether real observations show the three consequences that must occur when coherence collapses according to the algebra: (i) monotonic decrease of dominant temporal frequency, (ii) progressive disappearance of high-frequency spectral power, and (iii) convergence toward a slow and persistent temporal mode at late times. A model-free time–frequency analysis of GRB 221009A, GRB 130427A and SN 2006aj reveals the triple signature consistently across systems with very different energetics and environments. Connection between the two papers:The first paper establishes a coherence-based foundation for physical reality beyond geometry; the second examines whether nature behaves in accordance with its required temporal consequences. No free parameters, emission laws or astrophysical models are used. The empirical agreement concerns structure rather than magnitude and motivates further observational surveys across transient populations.
