SEMANTIC PHYSICS 3.0: From Thermodynamics to Renormalization (A Universal Framework for Structure Formation)
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Semantic Physics (SP) proposes a universal framework for understanding structure formation across all scales—from the symmetry breaking of the early universe to the emergence of meaning in language systems. Building on thermodynamic principles (SP 2.0), this paper extends the framework through renormalization group theory (SP 3.0) and fractal topology (SP 3.1). We introduce the concept of Proto-∇ (pre-geometric gradient) as the fundamental structure underlying both physical and semantic phenomena, and formalize the relationship between Dignity (D), Resilience (τ_R), and the Hold function h(t). The framework makes three falsifiable predictions: (1) the predictive measurability of h(t) before outcome knowledge, (2) the existence of a natural attractor D* ≈ 0.9-1.0 in semantic systems, and (3) substrate-independent fractal scaling with exponent α ≈ 0.9. This paper presents the theoretical foundations and validation roadmap, with empirical testing pending.
